Compliance Summary

Paystack Compliance
Summary.

Last updated: February 2026

A one-page summary of how VeviGoo operates as a marketplace, how we onboard and verify vendors, and how we handle payments and refunds. Prepared for payment-provider due-diligence review. Every claim on this page is backed by a linked policy at the bottom.

How the marketplace works

VeviGoo is a technology marketplace connecting Ghanaian customers with independent sellers, restaurants, riders, drivers and couriers. VeviGoo dispatches, tracks and settles transactions but does not itself act as merchant of record for third-party sellers. Full description at vevigoo.com/marketplace-policy.

Vendor onboarding

Every seller, rider, driver and investor completes VeviGoo's KYC before activation. Onboarding is manual — no vendor goes live without human review by our Vendor Verification team. Typical turnaround is 2–5 business days.

KYC collected on vendors

Full legal name, business name and address, government-issued photo ID, Business Registration Certificate (where applicable), TIN (where applicable), Ghana Card number verification, category-specific licences (FDA / Pharmacy Council / Ministry of the Interior where required), bank or mobile-money payout details in the vendor's legal name, and storefront photographs. Full list at vevigoo.com/kyc-vendor-due-diligence.

Enhanced Due Diligence

Higher-risk vendors — high-value categories, regulated categories, PEPs, sanctions-list hits, unusual volume patterns — are subject to Enhanced Due Diligence including direct verification with the Registrar-General's Department and GRA, beneficial-owner disclosure, on-site visits where warranted, and senior compliance-officer approval before activation.

Acceptable Use Policy

VeviGoo publishes and enforces a comprehensive Acceptable Use Policy prohibiting illegal drugs, weapons, counterfeit and stolen goods, adult services, fraud, money-laundering, fake accounts, misuse of payments and promotions, hate and harassment. Full list at vevigoo.com/acceptable-use. Prohibited categories detailed at vevigoo.com/prohibited-products.

Payments on behalf of vendors

VeviGoo collects customer payments and settles funds to underlying vendors on published payout schedules (weekly for sellers and riders; monthly for investors). Funds are held in a regulated escrow / merchant-of-record account. VeviGoo is not a bank, does not offer deposit accounts and does not offer loans.

Refund Policy

VeviGoo publishes a detailed Refund Policy covering rides, food, courier, marketplace, duplicate payments, failed transactions and cancelled orders — with clear timelines by payment method (instant wallet credit; 24-hour mobile money; 3–10 business days for card). Full policy at vevigoo.com/refund-policy.
