Community Guidelines.

The rules that keep VeviGoo safe, fair and respectful for everyone. By using VeviGoo you agree to follow these guidelines — and we enforce them, no matter who you are.

Respect and Safety First

VeviGoo is used by tens of thousands of Ghanaians every day. Every interaction on the platform — between customers, riders, drivers, sellers, couriers and staff — must be respectful, lawful and safe.

  • Treat everyone with courtesy regardless of background, gender, ethnicity, religion or accent
  • Never use threats, slurs, insults or intimidation
  • Resolve disagreements through the in-app dispute process — never through confrontation

Prohibited Conduct (All Users)

  • Harassment, threats or intimidation of any kind
  • Discrimination based on race, gender, religion, disability or sexual orientation
  • Fraud, fake orders, fake payment instruments or false referrals
  • Submitting false product listings or fake businesses on the marketplace
  • Abusive or sexualised language toward riders, drivers, sellers or staff
  • Carrying or transporting illegal goods, weapons or controlled substances
  • Attempting to manipulate platform pricing, ratings or rankings
  • Sharing account credentials with non-account holders

Customer Rules

  • Provide accurate pickup, drop-off and delivery addresses
  • Be available and contactable at the time of pickup or delivery
  • Avoid false complaints, refund-abuse schemes or chargeback fraud
  • Pay agreed fares and order totals on time
  • Treat riders, drivers and couriers with respect — they are working professionals

Rider and Driver Rules

  • Operate your vehicle safely and lawfully at all times
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance and behaviour on duty
  • Never solicit off-platform payments or attempt to bypass VeviGoo fees
  • Complete every accepted job — do not abandon trips or deliveries
  • Report incidents, accidents or unsafe customer behaviour through support
  • Never tamper with the GPS, payment or rating systems

Seller Rules

  • List only products you actually have in stock with accurate descriptions and photos
  • Process and dispatch orders within stated preparation times
  • Never list counterfeit, expired, illegal or restricted goods
  • Respond to customer messages and refund requests in good faith
  • Maintain food-safety and packaging hygiene as required by Ghanaian law

Investor Rules

  • Do not make false or unauthorised public claims about VeviGoo returns
  • Do not abuse the referral system through fake or coerced signups
  • Read and acknowledge the Investor Risk Disclosure before funding
  • Report any suspicious activity, payout discrepancy or dashboard issue promptly

Enforcement

Violations are reviewed by our Trust and Safety team. Depending on severity and history, consequences may include:

  • Warning (first or minor offences)
  • Temporary account suspension (recurring or moderate offences)
  • Permanent account removal (serious offences or repeat violations)
  • Reporting to law enforcement (illegal activity)
  • Withholding of payouts pending investigation (financial fraud)
